An outdoor setting at Lake Arlington sponsored by Governor of the State of Texas Music Office.  Arlington's sister city since 1951, Bad Königshofen is a town of about 7,000 people located in the center of Germany in the northern portion of the state of Bavaria. It lies about 100 miles northeast of Frankfurt.  For this presentation, the band performed an assortment of German songs from it's German music library.  The Dynamic Swing Machine has performed at numerous German themed events through the years with both American big band as well as it's collection of Bavarian style German songs.

The band performed big band event entertainment at the German Pioneer Ball for fourteen years.  There are many German communities in Texas and for several decades these groups would celebrate their heritage during the State Fair of Texas with traditional wurstfests and Bavarian bier garten style music.  The Dynamic Swing Machine would perform at a Grand Ball where the communities from across the state would celebrate at an elegant formal ball.  The day was proclaimed by the Governor of Texas and an ambassador to Germany would make various presentations.  The band was accompanied by a trio of ladies singing the songs in German as well as four to five of the regular band singers.  The Dynamic Swing Machine has performed at numerous German themed events through the years with both American big band as well as its collection of Bavarian style German songs and became very well known in the German-American community.
